Worley Equine provides reproductive ultrasound services for pregnancy diagnosis,breeding optimization and twin reduction as well as soft tissue ultrasound for tendon and ligament injuries.  

During dentistry we routinely use sedation in combination with a full mouth speculum to allow a thorough and complete examination of the teeth and oral cavity.  For reduction of enamel points we use a Powerfloat in order to provide an even reduction without trauma to the soft tissues of the mouth.  Use of the powerfloat allows us improved access to all teeth and reduces the time required to float all of the dental arcades.  

Wolf Teeth

Wolf teeth are the vestigial first premolars that erupt in about 80% of colts and 50% of fillies before 2 years of age.  We rountinely remove these in the young horse to avoid bitting problems once these horses get into training.
